DIY Speakers
To work together with the amplifier PA300 described in the previous blog, a combination of a dual sub-woofer with two satellites is built.
Again this was built back in days (more than 20 years ago) when plenty of people was interested DIY audio. Now days you cant find neither people or time to do something like this.
Sub-woofer was built around famous speaker "Eminence KAPPA 15LF" and satellites are built using combination of two VISATON BG-20 middles and one APT 150 from Eminence.
Building sub-woofer proved to be very hard. Below are pictures from actual build. Sorry for bad quality, but in those days phones didn't have now days cameras.
Building satellites was much easier. You can see pictures from actual buld bellow.
Unfortunately I don't have any of the pictures with finish sub with satellites but believe me they did they work on plenty of small gigs and perform well.
